Biodinamica N-Rickert Endodontic Cement Kit consist of :-

  • 1x 10g N-Rickert Endodontic Cement Powder
  • 1x 10mL N-Rickert Endodontic Cement Liquid

N-RICKERT is an endodontic cement, used as intra-canal filling material.

The liquid and the powder provide one viscose and consistent mixture, which is used as gutta-percha point.

The setting of this cement is because of the reaction between the Zinc Oxide and Eugenol, which in the presence of water produces the zinc eugenolate. The resin improves the characteristics of the mixture and delay the setting time. The radiopacity is optimized by the silver.

The formulation of the N-RICKERT is similar to the one developed by RICKERT, that was one of the first to be used and fulfill the requests of a good endodontic cement:

  • Has good adhesion.
  • Good penetration.
  • High radiopacity (silver).
  • Easy to remove (with alcohol 70 GL).
  • Antibacterial action (eugenol, thymol and silver).
